This is a pretty interesting picture for a number of reasons. It was taken at The Merchant's House Museum, here in NYC. Dan Tisher and I were doing an investigation and were in what the people at the house call, Mrs. Tredwell's room. It's the back bedroom on the second floor of the house. For some reason we get a lot of data in this room. The recording of footsteps that is on this site started in this room. Anyway, I had set my camera to take pictures in low light. Any light that the camera can "see," should have shown up red. This little squiggle showed up dead center in the photo and is colored white with shades of blue. The camera works fine, never did anything like this before and never has done anything like this since. I will post the EXIF data below to take a look at. EXIF stands for Exchangeable image file format. The data defined by EXIF covers a broad spectrum of information such as; Date and Time information and all the camera settings. Photo manipulation software usually does not update EXIF data and leaves the information blank when run through an EXIF program. A quick way to find out if a digital photograph has been altered.
